When the weather is HOT in Walnut Creek that means the Farmers Market will be bumpin! Of course we appreciate the nice weather drawing in more customers, but it does get rather toasty inside the Chicks' booth! Those ovens crank out the heat, but the Chicks are prepared with their portable fans and misters! So Bring it!

Exciting news for peeps who enjoy sleeping in later on Sundays! The market will now be open until 2pm! So, come on down to see 2 HOTChicks cookin up some Chicalicious Farm Fresh Flatbreads!

Come on down and let the Chicks serve you an Earth Day "friendly" flatbread made from organic and locally sourced ingredients OR you can let the Chicks hook you up with their original Organic Flatbread Crusts! Once you have the crusts you can make your own custom flatbread pizzas either on the charcoal BBQ or in a little energy star rated toaster oven....STILL you will be saving the earth! You can also contribute by picking up some tomato plants and herbs to start your own garden! Looking forward to making you happy and making every day Earth Day!

Hope you've been well! It's been 2 weeks too long, since we've been at the WC Farmers Market!

Do you know anybody on a Gluten Free diet? So many people have stopped by our booth and asked us if we make GF pizza. They say it's challenging to find good pizza that is GF. Well, we have great news! After months of research and development, the Chicks have decided to use Udis brand GF pizza crusts, on request, so GF peeps can enjoy some LOVE at the farmers market too! We carry a limited supply of GF crusts, so it's best to email or FB post us a "heads up" so we can ensure that we reserve one for you & or your peeps! Attached is a pic of our Farm Fresh Flatbread with mushrooms on an Udis GF crust.

The SUN will be out in the Creek tomorrow and the Chicks will be READY for you!

At first glance you might think this is a pic of a dead or sickly chicken. On the contrary, this is Patty sunbathing. She is one of our favorite chickens because she has the most outgoing personality. She'll come right up to you and allow you to scoop her up and pet her! Chickens enjoy both dust baths and sun baths!

It's baby chick season now, so we'd like to encourage you to get some lil chicks as they make great low maintenance pets and their eggs are simply delicious. Please feel free to ask us about the process of raising chickens and we'd be glad to share our experiences you!

This pic is of our custom made pizza "peels". They are a much needed tool used to slide the flatbreads into our ovens. Designer Chick thought of the idea to cut a regular pizza peel in half and sand it down. Gotta LOVE Designer Chick!

Even if you didn't crave Chicks and Love flatbreads, there's a food stand in the Walnut Creek Farmers Market that will surely satisfy you! Next to our booth, there's a new Island BBQ! They are from Tonga & Samoa and they make excellent Kalua Pork, & delicious BBQ Chicken & Shortribs. A few booths down are the BEST croissants made with pretzel dough from Octoberfeast. The Japanese food stand will probably have their awesome made to order fresh sushi and the hot & steamy Ramen. There's Mexican, Falafal, American BBQ and several other great choices. Come on out, it's gonna be a beautiful day in the Creek!
